trumpet "Running of the Bulls" Big Thanks

I was fortunate enough to be included with the trompatistis even though I was barely able to blow a few notes on the montuno.  It was fun, and getting to meet some "real" trumpet players was a personal treat for me.  I also learned some valuable lessons.  Thanks to Jim, I now know some basic trumpet skills and am practicing everyday.  Next year, look out.  I might even get a tuba, as it would add some needed bottom.  The energy and spirit of the whole crew that made the presentation of San Fermin before the runners started was contageous, and when 10,000 runners assemble for a single purpose, the experience is remarkable.
I intend to Blog about music and my take on instruments and singing.
